Machining Summit On The Summit

A first-of-its-kind gathering for innovators in machining, MachiningSummit on the Summit is not another trade show or sales event. It’s a space for real conversation, shared experience, and meaningful connection across the machining industry.

Inspired by the spontaneous talks that happen on a ski lift, those twenty minute momentsbetween runs where ideas form naturally, the Summit flips the traditional conference formaton its head.

You don’t need to ski to take part in the Summit. By day, attendees share the mountain skiing, snowboarding and driving RC rock Crawlers. By evening, they gather for fireside panels andopen dialogue led by industry experts. The goal is simple: to inspire organic conversations thatmove the machining industry forward.

The afternoon Shop Talk sessions offer a different kind of elevation — guided discussions andhands-on workshops led by industry experts. These sessions dive into machining, automation, leadership, and innovation, creating the same spark of connection and creative thinking thathappens on the mountain, just in a different setting. Through shared dialogue and practicallearning, both skiers and non-skiers will explore new ideas shaping the future of the trade.

Each evening, two Panel Conversations bring together diverse voices from across the trade—shop owners, toolmakers, machine builders, and software innovators, to share honest insightsabout where our industry is headed. These are not lectures. They are shared explorations ofthe future of machining. The goal is not agreement, but progress through perspective.

Who is it For?

  • Shop owners and operators

  • Manufacturing leaders and engineers

  • CNC machine builders, cutting tool partners, and software innovators

  • Anyone driving the future of machining productivity in the United States
